I thought I would fill you in with some of the plans we have in store for the future of our Division 15. In 2002, our Steering Committee will hold a face-to-face planning meeting at the ASHA headquarters to do more in depth planning for the division. At this point, we are tentatively planning a series of programs at the next ASHA Convention. These will focus on counseling older adults and their families. If you have any other suggestions for programs or workshops, please let me know. Also, if you have heard an excellent speaker from inside or outside our professions, please let me know. We are looking to include a greater variety of articles related to the broad topic of aging in future issues of this newsletter. We are also working toward offering the newsletter for CEU credit in the future.
